BENEFITS OF FOREARM STAND

Pincha, along with its preps and drills, requires and thus builds shoulder, back, and core strength. As with many inversions, many folks, me included, say it helps them to feel energized and refreshed, sometimes quite literally flipping their perspective when needed. It can also increase circulation. In addition, forearm stand requires a lot of focus and balance and thus enhances those as you work toward and practice it.

It also helps build crucial skills for other inversions. Your experience may differ, but I found that after learning to balance in forearm stand, balancing in handstand and headstand became a lot easier. And learning to balance on your forearms with your head off the floor in pincha can also help you to bring less weight into your head and neck in headstand.
