Bear

Bears are the largest land carnivores in existence and are among the most powerful animals in the world. Some bear species can reach sizes of over 3m (10 feet) tall and weight over 680kg (1500lbs). As you can imagine, just to move bodies this size requires incredible strength and power.

Just how powerful are bears? Bears can smash the back of a bull moose or elk with one blow from its paw. They have been seen lifting horses right off their feet and slamming them into the ground, killing them. They have been seen dragging beluga whales three times their weight onto land. Not only are they immensely strong, but bears are incredibly fast and nimble, as well. Many bears can reach speeds up to 30 mph and have the ability to run down jack rabbits.
