Twenty minutes down the road, Mindy couldn’t keep her hands off him.

“What are you doing?” he asked as she unbuckled and shifted closer, her hands going for his jeans again.

“I want to touch you.”

Gage groaned and lifted his hips, helping her with one hand to unbutton his jeans.

She slipped her hand inside and wrapped her fingers around his thickening length. “If this damn console wasn’t so big, I’d lean over and wrap my mouth around you rather than my hand.”

Another groan escaped his parted lips as he clutched the steering wheel in both hands. Fully erect again, he lifted his hips on her downward strokes. “Keep this up, and I’m going to come all over your hand.”

“Mmm,” she murmured, tightening her grip and smearing his pre-cum around his head and down his length.

“Fuck.” He bucked beneath her but grabbed hold of her hand to keep her still. “If you don’t stop, it’ll be a couple of hours before I’ll be able to slide back into your sweet pussy.”

Mindy squeezed his cock beneath the hold of his hand. “Guess I’d better stop, then.” She sat back in her seat and licked her hand clean, same as he’d done with her wetness.

“Goddamn, woman.” Gage struggled to tuck himself away. “I seriously wanted to wait before fucking you, but damn. I’ve never been so hard in all my life.”

Brow cocked, Mindy peered over at him. “Seriously?”

Gage shot her a dimpled yet pained grin. “I’ve only been in two relationships, and neither woman focused all of my attention on fucking until I passed out the way that you do.”

His words filtered into her brain, buzzing between her ears. “Meaning you’ve only slept with two women?”

He nodded, and like a sinking ship, Mindy’s heart fell. If he knew the number of men she’d been with, the number of one-night-stands she couldn’t even name…

She cleared her throat. “Were they serious relationships?” she managed to ask, lacing her fingers on her lap and clenching them tight.

“Both. The first, I got engaged before deployment. She couldn’t handle the stress of thinking I might not make it home from Afghanistan.”

“And the second?”

“My second girlfriend and I dated for just over six months, but we decided to call it quits earlier this year.”

“How come?”

Gage shrugged. “The chemistry just wasn’t what either of us hoped for. We got along great—could have been best friends, but it wasn’t enough.”

“So no hot, random hookups just to get your rocks off?” Mindy asked with a hint of what she hoped sounded like teasing in her voice.

“Nope.”

Her smile faded. “Seriously?”

“I’m not into chasing ass and cheap sex. I’m a one-hundred percent kind of guy.” He glanced over at her. “What about you?”

“What about me?”

“Been in any other relationships besides your moron ex?”

Mindy’s laugh sounded forced in her ears.

“Don’t know what that idiot was thinking,” Gage said, returning his attention to the road. “You’re gorgeous, fun, a hard worker…you’d keep any man on his toes.”

“Guess he didn’t feel that connection like I did.”

“I’m sorry.”

“I’m not.” Mindy shook her head, thankful to have the conversation veered off her past conquests.
