1. All Religions Are The Same

A growing number of Americans are convinced that when you get right down to it, when you strip away all different distinctions of the wide-variety of religions in America, all religions basically teach the same thing. So it doesn’t really matter which one a person believes. As you may have heard someone say, “All spiritual paths, lead up the same mountain to God.” Which is another way of saying, “It doesn’t matter what you believe, just so long as you believe something.” Yet with this one incredibly outlandish claim, Jesus Christ boldly places Christianity in a class all by itself. If Jesus claim is true, that He is the only path to God, then the reality is this: Christianity cannot be reconciled with any other religion. In Acts 4:12 we read, “Salvation is found in no one else for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” The uniqueness of Christianity is founded in the uniqueness of Jesus Christ. He is unlike any other religious leader who ever walked on this planet. The difference between other religious leaders and Jesus is based first of all in what they taught.
