At this point I am guessing that you have been expecting me to call you, text you, or message you some sort of praise for taking out Matt. Well, yes, I give you what I owe you; I also thank you and congratulate you. Hell, I’ll even give you one better and admit to you that you have surpassed what I expected of you and I can’t quite figure out what else to say about it other than you are willing to even risk setting fire to yourself in order to take down a target. That is conviction in your mission if I have ever seen it, and it makes me more than a little scared of you.

Hopefully on my end, I’ve at least partly fulfilled things; at least to the end that will make you happy.

I don’t really have an interest in talking to you about Stefan Tourvel right now; things with that are not moving to a speed that you approve of, obviously. You like to talk about things that are completed, but I am enjoying the way things have been going with him.

I do like to spend my time with him, talking with him. We walk the vineyards each day, a little further every time; and more and more he submits and despite his convictions... his eyes are closing.

Don’t worry, Ollie. I know you worry that I will always be overcome by him, but the time will come, when I am through with Stefan—when I have done all that I have set out to do—he will be nothing more than another ordinary fuck boy like all of the others that I have left behind.

For the past few days, Cécile has started to finally get over her bullshit and as a result, I was able to relax and take a step back and really take her in. If an arrogant prick like Danceny could be in love with her—if Gercourt could find something in her—something worth tolerating—then she really was worth taking a second, more discerning, look at.
