Jack had a couple of hours to kill before he left to pickup Joan for dinner. He had a choice between the television or the computer. The latter got the nod. A song he remembered from his youth had been playing in his head. He had possessed the forty-five RPM recording of it, but had relinquished possession of it somewhere along the line along with his baseball cards, Davy Crockett coonskin cap, and hula hoop. He wondered if someone had loaded it up to YouTube so he could take a walk down memory lane. After a minute of searching, he found it and clicked the play button. As the music started, a chill went down his spine. As the singing began he joined in, a bit surprised he still remembered the lyrics.

"Plant the seed in our homeland, boys.

Let it grow where all can see.

Feed it with our devotion, boys.

Call it the Liberty Tree.

It's a tall old tree

And a strong old tree.

And we are the sons

Yes we are the sons

The sons of Liberty.
