Morning January 22 to Evening January 27, 2268 & ED Year 5 Days 205-219.

As Alex stepped out of his VR pod on the morning of the 22nd, the first thing he did was look at Ava and Mia, as he smiled before wishing them a happy birthday. As both of them smiled back at him, he pulled them both in for a kiss before they started to speak.

“So, what do you have planned for the day?”

“Yeah, how are you going to pamper us today?”

“If I remember correctly, you both told me that you wanted to be six months pregnant and to simply relax as I massage you. So, you are both six months along and all I need do is help you to your bed as we stay upstairs all day, while I massage you and just enjoy our time together.”

“Hmm. I don’t know.”

“You did all that stuff with Kate after all.”

“It made us think that we might be missing out.”

“Still, we will give you a pass today.”

“Yeah, but only because we are carrying twins.”

“If there was only one baby in each of us, we would be expecting more.”

“After all, we know you have it in you.”

“Riding that Skycoaster again wouldn’t be a bad idea.”

“That does sound like fun,” interjected Sam. “Hey, Alex, why haven’t Nicole, Kate and I been there yet?”

“Time and money,” replied Kate. “We all know just how much Alex tends to spend when he wants to make us feel special. Honestly, if it weren’t for the fact that he does it as part of his time-maximizing strategy, I would call it beyond extravagant.”

“Agreed,” commented Nicole. “While he has the funds to increase the number of such dates, I would still rather he use them for more permanent things.”

“Booooo,” quipped Ava.

“Memories are permanent things,” added Mia with a giggle.

“Only the special ones are, but you can only experience them once before they become only memories,” replied Alex with a smile. “Though I think that if I had a Skycoaster built as part of the guild city, that would make it more permanent.”

“Ooh, there’s an idea.”

“But wouldn’t that make it less special?”

“I agree with Ava and Mia,” added Sam. “While I wouldn’t be against adding a theme park next to the city, I wouldn’t want to go there all the time as it would get stale after a while.”

Alex held in a laugh, as this conversation sidetracked everyone but Kate, who was the one to bring them back to reality and remind Sam and Nicole that they needed to get downstairs to kendo. This left Alex alone with Ava and Mia, as he helped them to their room where they got up on the massive Alaskan King, on which they used a small mountain of pillows to prop themselves up. Once they were comfortable, Alex got to work as he started carefully rubbing their feet.
