“Wake up. Someone is approaching.”

Zai whispered this directly into the Beast’s ear.

They were lying on their sides, arms and legs wrapped around each other in a tangled embrace. His undying erection was still clutched tightly in Sin’s hot channel.

He’d stayed inside of the other male all night.

He’d never done that before. Never held someone while they slept. Nor was held in return.

Release for Zai had always been quick and emotionless. Like taking care of any physical need. Most of the time, his own hand served him well enough. It was most efficient that way.

But now…

He didn’t want to leave Sin’s body. He wanted to live inside the other male for days.

Years.

Zai was quickly becoming obsessed and addicted. It was high time to reign it in.

The Beast stretched against him and tightened his strong inner muscles around Zai’s aching erection, making him bite back a groan at the intense pleasure, spiked with a burning soreness in his well-used flesh.

“I have better hearing than you, Dark One,” the liger murmured, his voice groggy from sleep and guttural from sex.

Sin opened his bright eyes a sliver and gazed into Zai.

“If they were a threat, you wouldn’t have bothered with the warning. You’d already be dressed and armed. So. Let’s make good use of the time until they get here. There is no rush.”

He fisted Zai’s hair in one hand, pulled his head back to expose his throat and licked along the corded arch from Zai’s shoulder blade to his jawline.

“I want you,” the liger purred, his entire chest vibrating with the sound.

“I want inside you. The way you’re inside me now. When can I have you? I’ll make you come so good,” he rumbled in a purr-growl.

“I want to pay you back.”

He locked his entire body around Zai, using some of his liger strength, so that Zai had no hope of getting loose. And around Zai’s cock, he began to clench his inner muscles rhythmically, milking Zai’s tortured flesh like a fist.

Zai ground his teeth and forced himself to stay still.

They’d found their release last night. They’d had their fill. In the bright light of day, they would soon go their separate ways.

He needed to assert some distance.

But the liger wasn’t having it.

“I want you,” Sin repeated, licking at Zai’s throat now, plumping the jugular vein with his rasping tongue.

Even in human form, his tongue had small thorns coating the surface. Zai supposed he used them only when he wanted to, for he hadn’t felt the abrasion before.

Immediately, he wondered how that tongue would feel elsewhere on his body, where he was even more sensitive.

A rumbling chuckle rolled through the Beast’s body as he heard Zai’s thought.
