“Lux will not risk a hullworm, but Al is close enough that we could send Scarabs,” said Genff.

“Do it,” said Lucy.

A series of new viewpoints appeared, starting out dark. With a lurch, they quickly moved away from a docking port, and the armour plate they’d shielded under closed. The long, thick back of hullworm Alpha shrunk as the Scarabs moved away, their fat oblong forms visible on each other’s cameras.
