We spent a few minutes describing the amended path route to the Royalty Protection officers, who were happy with how it was all going to be laid out.

Officer Scanlan moved the conversation on by saying. ‘We need to see a couple of things if that’s ok. We need to have a safe room where we can take the Duchess and other dignitaries to in the event of an emergency, and we’ll need to map out the quickest path to there. Also, we’ll need to define a separate exit should there be a requirement to use it, and also how we would get vehicles round to that exit if we need to.’
