Accommodation options in Nîmes are plentiful, although rock-bottom budget places aren’t so easy to come by, and you should book ahead as far as possible for any of the city’s celebrations, when you may have to resort to the cluster of chain motels around the Nîmes-Ouest exit of the A9. In addition to the HI hostel there are several private hostels (résidences), some for under-25s, others with self-catering suites (contact the tourist office for details).

Hotel packages The “Pass Romain” (from €60 per person, depending on hotel rating) includes admission to the city’s attractions, the Pont du Gard, an audioguide to explore the city, and one night’s B&B accommodation. The “Pass Vin & Patrimoine” (from €47 per person depending on hotel rating) includes a visit to a wine cellar with tasting, entry to the city’s attractions, an audioguide to explore the city and one night’s B&B accommodation.
