Chapter 13

“Name,” Crista said.

“What name.” Clowy replied.

Crista replied, “You write your name in the blank that says name.”

Clowy replied, “Yes, I know that. I meant do I use my Alliance … er my Associate basic name or do I use my real name?”

Crista had no idea. The FSO form simply said name. It gave no further clarification or offered any other details. She realized that she had the exact same issue. Her name on Earth was Crista Tyrano, but her real, Solarian name was Crista Bullpeep.

Lexxi said, “Let’s use our real names on the forms for our native planets and our Associate basic names for the Earth form.”

Clowy responded, “I don’t understand why we have to fill out two forms just to become an ambassador. Earth should just accept the Altian form or vice-versa.”

Lexxi asked, “Crista, how are you going to become the Solarian ambassador to Earth? I thought that everyone believes that you are Human.”

Crista replied, “It is ingenious really. I told the Earth government that I applied for and received citizenship from Solaria and that I am now a dual citizen of both planets. Therefore, as the only Solarian on the planet I am now uniquely qualified to be the Solarian ambassador to Earth.”

“And they believed that?” Lexxi asked.

Crista replied, “I promised to paint myself blue on special occasions.”

Clowy asked, “What is the address of the Space Station Liberty? Oh, and what is a zip code?”

“Well,” Jim Donovan asked.

Lorano said, “We just finished the scans. It could take several hours for the computer to review the data and make an informed analysis. There are hundreds of subtleties that have to be computed and…”

…100%. The analysis is complete. The three pyramids on the Giza plateau are Altian energy pyramids. Each pyramid was constructed approximately 4,000 years ago. All pyramids show evidence of use…

“Use,” Jim repeated.

Lorano reviewed the scans in detail. He said, “Yes. The pyramids were definitely used to generate electricity. I will know more once we land and review the structure.”

Ace took a very aggressive flight path through the atmosphere and down toward the surface. He reversed the transport 180 degrees so that the nose was pointing directly up. He fired both the anti-gravity landing thrusters. The high g maneuver pinned the passengers to their seats. At the last moment he leveled off and gracefully landed the transport on the ground.

Jim reached up from the middle row and patted Ace on the shoulder. He said, “Nice work Ace.”

Ace replied, “You said that you wanted to minimize the amount of time the transport remained in the atmosphere over the pyramids.”

Red looked over at him from the co-pilot’s seat and shook her head. She said, “I know you said we were taking an aggressive flight path, but I didn’t think it was going to be straight down. That was insane.”

Lorano, Carank, Colin, Jim, Ace, and Red exited the transport and walked the short distance to the pyramid. Ace set the transport down only 10 meters (33 feet) from the pyramid and had aligned the rear to the pyramid.
