DOUBLE SPEAK

A good intimidation suggestion is to use lines that may be interpreted both literally and figuratively. For instance, if you threaten an already nervous opponent that you are going to “kick his butt,” he will end up spending more time looking out for the threatened foot foul rather than concentrating on his throw. Or a suggestion that you will “clean his clock” will result in an opponent examining his watch face for embarrassing smudges.
