62. The authentic Jackass

This Jackass read a book in 2010 (possibly written by us) and took the whole “authentic self online” thing a little too far. When they offend, they use authenticity as an excuse and advise authenticity to everyone they come into contact with. Their phrases of choice are, “I just call ’em as I see ’em” and “I’m a straight shooter.” No, you’re not, Kevin. You’re a Jackass.

JR: You call it like you see it with Kevin and scan all his posts for mistakes you can leverage. He doesn’t look like his profile picture? Bring it up often. Made a spelling mistake? Share that non-stop. When he eventually freaks out, reply, “Haters gonna hate.”

WR: You realize that one of the benefits of success is being able to be your authentic self, and you look forward to the day you’re successful enough to wear flip-flops and swear like a trucker too.
