Focus on feeling a gentle stretch on the back of the ankle and calf. This drill works on improving ankle range of motion and unlocking restriction in the foot.

In a controlled manner, move back and forth for 10 reps before switching sides.

To place less pressure on the front foot, place more support through the arms and hands in order to redistribute force.

This drill can be performed standing, seated on a chair, or seated on the floor. It works to strengthen the muscles on the front of the shin (lower leg) and improves ankle stability.
