Concentration: Keep your torso still throughout the exercise.

As you lower your legs, imprint your spine on the mat.

Control: Maintain Pilates stance and scoop hard to bring your legs back up.

Center: Activate your powerhouse throughout the exercise.

Fluidity: Lower your legs slowly. Raise them quickly, but with control.

Precision: Lower your legs only to the point that your back stays on the mat. Lengthen your lower spine throughout the exercise.

Breath: Inhale on the way down. Exhale on the way up.
