When dogs and cats are living together, this martini of biblical proportions will keep you mallow.

Did you notice that Dana’s shopping choices included marshmallows and eggs? What the hell was she going to make? A s’mores omelet? Believe it or not, that’s the inspiration for this cocktail. And it’s surprisingly good. Trust me here, I’m a professional.

1 part Pinnacle marshmallow vodka

1/4 part crème de cacao

1/4 part mezcal

1 egg white

Put all the ingredients in a shaker. Yes, I know I said at the beginning of the book that you didn’t need to use a shaker. If you don’t have a shaker, put all the ingredients in a bowl. Shake or whisk for 30 seconds. Add ice, then shake or whisk for 30 seconds more. This ensures the egg white becomes frothy and is integrated into the ingredients. Strain into a fancy glass.

When I shared this cocktail with my regulars, my favorite response was: “What did you do, Anders?”
