You’ll be surprised how chic a frozen drink can be when you add a bitter undertone amidst the sweet notes—that is, the black currant flavor to the peach and orange palette. Keep the ice cubes in the freezer until you’re ready to blend them to keep the drink from separating too quickly.
○ 2½ cups (11¼ ounces) small ice cubes
○ 2½ ounces gin
○ 2 ounces black currant or cassis syrup (not black currant juice or liqueur)
○ 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
○ ¾ ounce peach liqueur (not eau-de-vie)
○ ¾ ounce triple sec
