I spent the whole day seeking out the inner strength that I so desperately need, but I struggle to find it. I think I just about hold it together enough for my patients. This time, as soon as I walk through that door, I’m going to tell him to take a seat so we can talk. In fact, tonight I’m going to plan everything that I need to say, to make sure I get it out in the right way. I have to make him understand that I don’t want or expect anything from him. But also, that I don’t want things to end between us…

That might be too much to ask, who knows. That doesn’t mean I can’t tell him as soon as I walk in. Even if it ruins everything, then I have to remember that it’ll be better than limbo. Not having a clue is messing with my head, which is no good for me, or the baby.

I have to think about our child as well. I have to do what’s right for my baby. None of this is about just me anymore. It isn’t about him either. Not really. Maybe if we can get pass that, everything will be okay. Unless that’s just wishful thinking again, which is entirely possible, of course…
