They are intending to impose all the restrictions and hardships possible so that the Jews will be returned to the Ghetto and there encounter a form of existence through which they will inevitably perish; as I am sure the intentions are not to allow them to deteriorate to a certain low form of existence and then go on indefinitely, as one finds in the Ghettos of Poland.…

The Germans are determined to solve the Jewish problem without the assistance of other countries, and that means eventual annihilation. They have already indicated that if the hair of a Nazi leader is touched there will not be a Jew left alive in Germany. This is a sombre and darkly portentious [sic] statement; but the warning must not go by entirely unheeded.
