Chika sighed as she turned away from her laptop to glance at the card game tournament on the TV. Alice and Tear were seated next to her on their own electronic devices, fighting down the enormous paperwork between the two partnered companies. Yuki and Natalia, in adult form, were at a nearby table, sipping tea and having a light conversation. The silver-haired girl chimed in sometimes, but like Alice, mostly focused on work. So much work. She wanted to get away from it all. Her only saving grace was that when the academy started the semester, her second in charge would take over all operations until the semester ended. Good thing she hired that person from Tear’s network.

The sound of the doorbell pulled Chika’s attention from the TV.

“Naomi and Clare are here,” Kanako said as she opened the door for them.

“Right on time,” Tear said.

Naomi handed her a folder containing documents. “I hope these help.”

“Sorry for making you go out of your way,” Tear told her.

“Not at all,” Naomi said. “I’m always happy to help.”

“Not me,” Clare said as she plopped onto the couch next to Chika. “Unless you’re paying, of course.” She winked.

“We’ll pay you in customers,” Chika quipped.

Clare shrugged. “I’ll take those too. Just remind me to raise menu prices.” She chuckled. “Hey Kanako, do you want to cancel your application at Chika Corp and work for me? I’ll provide free ice cream.”

“Yeah, no, you’re not poaching my Kanako,” Chika said, grabbing the startled genie in an embrace. “Besides, she’s only been employed for a week now and is my best.”

Clare laughed. “I’m glad to hear everything’s going well. But–”

“A genie in a magical girl outfit,” Tear said, eyes starry. “Kanako’s breasts will keep customers in, day and night.”

Kanako folded her arms over her chest. “I’m not some mascot, you know.”

Tear grinned. “Don’t look at it like that. Think of it as… being an idol.”

Chika looked at Harumi over on the other couch. “Save us, please.”

Harumi gave her a sad smile.

“Hey, look, they’re showing Clyde,” Alice said.

“So that’s where Ako went,” Tear said.

“Has anyone seen Naoko?” Fuyoko asked as she stepped out of the hall. She let out a yawn, covering her mouth.

“Take a look at the TV,” Chika told her.

“You know, I have words for that man,” Clare said.

“Don’t we all,” Alice said, gaining a chuckle from all of the women. A half-smile curled upon Yuki’s face.

“So true,” Natalia said after taking a sip of tea. “I think I’ll punish him when he returns.”

Tear laughed.

Chika sighed. “Don’t join Tear’s perverted club.”

“It’s a great place to be,” Tear said. “Besides, it could’ve been Natalia who started it all along.”

Chika glared at their breasts.

“Cows,” Alice said for her.
