Seven weeks…

Weeks have gone by and we have traveled to more places than I thought possible. Vin’s work takes him all over the world. I expected him to leave me behind and not want me with him, but Vincent was not having any of that. I travel with him under a fake name and passport. I even wear wigs to hide my hair color. I stay in the hotel room while he works. It’s surreal to know that he is leaving me to go kill someone. I’ve read over every file and each person that he is sent to take out isn’t a good man. They harm children and women, steal from the poor and Vin assures me he never takes a life unless it is warranted. He says he needs all the facts about a person before he pulls the trigger. He is very thorough with his checks and never rushes.

We have been home for two days. Vin has given me my freedom and phone back while we were in Sicily saying that if I chose to out him and call in my brothers, that it’s my choice. The thought never crossed my mind, we may have started out fucked up, but honestly I care a lot about Vin. My feelings for him seem to grow stronger and stronger each passing day. I would even dare to go as far and say I’ve fallen in love with him. The only thing that scares me is knowing I will have to come clean to my family and tell them about him. Vin is older than Bishop, he’s thirty-one, and is the only son of my brother’s enemy. Bishop is not going to take that well.

Vin gave me a file the night we came home on a woman named Koby. He has been tracking each person in my family for years. He says he may live like a recluse but he has contacts around the world and each of them report to him about what they find on my family and all their dealings. This woman Koby is a Russian and she is trying to get in close with Allison, King’s girlfriend. I know I need to warn my brothers about her but I don’t know how Vin is going to feel about that. He has some app on my phone that blocks it from being able to be tracked or bugged. Yeah, Vin knows about Luka and his hacking skills. He has opened up so much and told me everything about himself and his sister Selena, my heart aches for him. I wouldn’t be able to survive losing one of my siblings, shit, even losing Gage would hurt like a bitch.
