The Phases are Flexible According to your Physical Capacities

The phases of the workout are flexible. The sets and reps listed in each phase are not meant to be rules that can never be adjusted (What I’m about to say is important, so be careful to get this part). If there is a rule, it is to train to the limit of your strength specific capacities without exceeding them, and you may need to add or subtract sets within a phase to fit your capacities. For example, you may prefer the ascending singles reps portion from the ten set workout, and combine it with just one half set shown in the seven set workout. You may need to add an extra warm up set, or an extra full set. If these changes, or any changes, are right for your training capacities, then make them. The important concept is to develop a physical awareness of your personal capacities, and to let that be the ultimate guide for the amount of sets, reps, and weight to use.
