3.23 Dips
Hoist up into the slings on straight arms, shoulders above hands. Lower your body by bending at the elbows. When a stretch is felt in chest or shoulders, push body up until arms are straight. Avoid locking the elbows when your arms are straight.
Expert advice: If your hand grip gets uncomfortable, try placing your fists inside the slings.
3.24 Pull-ups
Reach and grasp the slings with a wide overhand grip. Lift your feet off the ground. Crossing is optional. Using your arms, lift your body until the chin is the same height as your hands. Lower body until arms are straight.
Expert advice: Avoid locking the elbows when the arms are straight by keeping ready tension in the biceps and shoulders.
