"Ah, good," Jose said with a scowl that was completely at odds with his salutation, "You've come early."

Jilliam nodded, crossing his arms over his chest and staying completely silent.

"I have a matter that I need to discuss with you." Jose sighed and shook his head while he looked out the window of his office. "First, where is she?"

"Crazy bitch wouldn't just stay at her place," Jilliam answered. "Something about needing her daily smoothie or some shit. She's at the bar with the brat."

"The boy?" Jose asked.

"Yep, he says he'll keep an eye on her while I'm on the mission."

"I see," Jose said, then shrugged and cleared his throat. "The Fairies have officially taken a request that I cannot ignore. I need you to pay them a visit and give them a message for me."

"What's the request?"

"It seems Lina's father has hired Flame Legion to rescue his missing daughter—just as you said. It is being handled as an S-Class mission," Jose said. He looked over at Jilliam and saw pure rage flash in his eyes for the briefest of moments before it disappeared. Perfect. "You know what to do, Jilliam. Let them know we will not take threats lightly. I want them to know who the superior guild is, and that they won't succeed in taking her from us."

"How destroyed are we talking?" Jilliam asked. "I can probably collapse the whole damn thing with all those weak points she found."

Jose nodded, stroking his chin slowly then grinned. "Don't completely destroy it. Just enough to let them know Golem Master isn't to be trifled with."

"Who took the request anyway?" Jilliam asked. "Who should she keep an eye out for?"

"Erza Scarlet."

Jilliam nodded, then said, "When do I leave?"

"Today. Stay hidden, and don't let them know you're there until it's too late. I want you back by morning."

With a wicked grin, Jilliam nodded and said, "Trust me, they'll get the message loud and clear."

Just as Jilliam was walking toward the door, Jose said, "Erza is to be back in Fleur tomorrow morning from a previous mission, then she will leave immediately and come to collect Lina. You must be out of Fleur before she returns."

"Not a problem," Jilliam said, then made his way up into the rafters when he saw that Kyam had gone back to sitting up there instead of next to Lina at the bar. "What're you doing up here?" he asked.

"Watching her," Kyam said with a smile, "And I put your bag up here so no one would see it."

Jilliam chuckled and said, "I've gotta head to my place and pack a couple things."

"And put those sheets somewhere," Kyam muttered with a smirk, his amusement at the older Warrior's attraction to Lina glimmering in his eyes.

"Damn straight," Jilliam said with a smirk of his own. "I'm leaving on the next train, so I don't have time to say anything to her. Just let her know I'll be back in the morning."

Kyam nodded, then turned to look at Lina again. "She'll be worried all day, you know.
