“No wonder Linda wanted to stay on Earth,” said Sandra as an alien directed her towards a queue. “Right, Rex, we need a plan. We need to find someone who looks important and can take us to the council so we can return the dictionary.”

“What makes you look important?” said Rex.

Sandra thought about this. “A fancy uniform, a tall hat and maybe a big hairstyle or a moustache? And remember that no humans are allowed on the ship. So, you’re a dinosaur pretending to be a human who’s pretending to be an alien who’s pretending to be a human.”

Before Rex could work out what he was supposed to be, the queue reached a long bar. Rex saw that there was a moving conveyor belt on the top. On top of the belt were big platters. Rex identified them as being full of FOOD.

“Is this a buffet?” He put his little claws up to his face. “I love a buffet!”

Rex picked up a plate and started spooning food onto it. He turned to Sandra with a big grin on his face. “Bigfoot once took me to the all-you-can-eat buffet in town. It was the best day of my life. What would you like?”
