Earth First

The next three stories were shorts written to promote a trilogy I started writing almost two decades ago. I finished the first book and had notes for the next two. The title of this intro was the title of book one. That project was tabled as I struggled with the editing of the first book. Fixing something when you’re still learning to write is quite the chore.

Exodus was an attempt at Flash Fiction, but it grew out of control. It is a prequel to the story found in Earth First. However, as I sit here writing this intro, I wonder if I should rethink the ordering of my trilogy. Hmmm, stay tuned.

Herb was a character taken from Earth First. The story, like Exodus was designed to give readers of my blog another look into the world of Earth First. I liked the character, and his grumpy outlook on a dismal existence.

Zero Atmosphere is a chapter taken directly from the book. It underwent some serious editing to bring it to my then current level of writing. How Del Tyminsks wife died changed several times as I wrote the book and then revisited it over the years.

Earth First, and its two companion books will still be written, so if you like this book, follow my Amazon account, and maybe occasionally pester me as to where the damn trilogy I promised is.
