If this is too difficult or uncomfortable, turn your toes downward on your left leg and rest on your toes.

6. Hold this position for 5–10 complete breaths, and then inhale and straighten your right leg.

7. Drop your arms to your sides, return to the Expanded Mountain Pose (as described in Step 1), and relax.

8. Repeat Steps 3 through 7, but lunge on your left leg this time.
