DOUBLE STRAIGHT LEG STRETCH

The Double Straight Leg Stretch reinforces the "controlled mobility" principle. The powerhouse holds the upper body stable as the legs smoothly reach down and up. Begin with small movements and engage the buttocks and inner thighs to support and protect your back.

REPETITIONS 5–10 times (Steps 2–3).

CAUTION Do not attempt this exercise if you have a weak back or a history of back injury. If you have a delicate neck, you may leave your head down.

VISUALIZATION Imagine your legs working as a windshield wiper pressing down slow and pulling up quickly.
