Ever seen the blooms of a hoya plant? Each intricate, puffy, star-like flower is about the size of a pea. Sometimes beauty has to be ignored in order to find attractive photo opportunities. Near page, left: The colorful blooms at the top of these stems prompted me to pull out my camera, but it was the sense that the world already had enough of photos of pretty blossoms that caused me to concentrate on the watery composition of glass, liquid and stems below.
