Habits: An adaptable and successful bird that is found in forest edges and open woodlands, never in closed forest. Occurs from coastal mangroves to lower montane villages and gardens. Visits trees with small fruits and berries; moves low and is quite approachable. Calls incessantly from a top branch, often late in the afternoon. The nest is in a hollow in a dead branch.
