I needed to stretch.

Moaning, I tried switching my weight in the chair. It didn’t matter that we had business class seats that could transfer into beds on this flight, I’d much rather had flown private. Commercial flights didn’t allow for push-ups, stretching, or simply walking about the cabin freely. And I couldn’t get comfortable. I didn’t recall being as antsy on the flight to Tokyo, but returning home?

Ugh...

“Can you hand me my laptop?” I asked Renata, across the aisle from me. “How long do we have?”

“Like thirty minutes, T,” Renata groaned, probably annoyed by my impatience.

It wasn’t my first time asking. I was so ready to blow this joint. There wasn’t enough sleeping, playing games on my phone, reading business reports, or watching movies to speed this flight up. Tokyo was always a good time. My partners over there in women’s boxing were generous and hospitable when I visited, but I couldn’t make this trip often. The commute felt too long this time. I needed to be home, like days ago.

“It’s fully charged now,” Renata informed. “Here.” She reached over the aisle and handed me the laptop.

I opened it, going straight to my photo album after signing in. Butterflies took flight in my belly and my chest dropped deeper before my lungs filled again. They were beautiful, and I was the bomb photographer out in Saint Justin. The sun gave the best lighting out there, and sky the perfect hue of blue. I blinked slowly, wishing I was back there—we were back there.

“Mmmhmm,” Treesha hummed. “That’s why you wanted your laptop, I see.”

I glanced over to see her peeping my screen. That irritated me, but not more than the long flight.

I rolled my eyes. “No. It’s why I’m ready to be on U.S. soil again, though.”

It had been a long six days away from...him. We FaceTime’d and texted when we could, but what I craved from Ashton couldn’t be provided telephonically. I needed him: his scent, hands, his mouth, taut beating chest when he touched me, and his dick. And I was ready. On this flight alone, I was unbelievably horny. I leaked so bad I ran to the bathroom, thinking my period arrived early, only to find a puddle of need. It was insane! I felt like a teenager all over again, except I had no sexual desire as a teen, and thought that meant I wasn’t normal and possibly liked girls. That was until Ashton. And here again was Ashton, pushing my femininity further than any man or woman.

Treesha sucked her teeth. “Here we go with this nigga again.”

My face wrinkled. “What about him?”

“Where did he come from? Like how y’all cool again? He did the interview and now it’s over. You damn near didn’t want to speak to dude back in Kamigu, and now you’re fuckin’ him like he ain’t that same dude who played you back in the day and left you with a bab—”

“That’s enough, Treesha!” Renata hissed hard enough to turn a few heads at the late hour.
