rain straight fall of hair.
Her leg was bent at the knee and had slipped between his. She was soft
and warm and tempting.

She would be drowsy and disoriented.
The hazy gray of early dawn came upon them as he watched her. He could
make out her lashes now, a long sweep of black that seemed to weigh her
lids down. He wanted her, but not that way. Not the first time.
Asleep, she sighed and moved against him. Desire rippled along his
skin. Carefully Brand shifted away from her and rose.
