Sabotaging rooms at the hotel was a little trickier than I first imagined. My chief antagonist was Andy, the maintenance guy. Andy was a nice enough guy but a pain in the ass for my finances. If I blocked a toilet with a full roll of paper, he stuck his arm in and scraped it out again. If I planted a burnt out fuse in the television or kettle or I shorted a light-bulb, Andy would have it replaced by noon.

It took me a few days to get my system in place but I eventually managed to defeat him by sabotaging the same two rooms so often that the management took them permanently out of commission pending a proper inspection on the electrics and drainage.

And once again I was seemingly on course for my magic five grand.
