“My hero!” proclaimed Prof. Alek as he embraced Ariana, feeling the pain that Ariana had been so brave to share and also her shapely pure-blooded womanly body.

“Po-co, po-co!” Ariana began to chant as she squirmed from Prof. Alek, riling the crowd, which began to chant with her, “Po-co! Po-co!”

The single spotlight illuminating her hate-hating face flickered, perilously close to going out.

The crowd roared louder, “Po-co! Po-co!”

The cable, Peace thought. That damn cable could not go out again right now, not when the energy was cresting, when the power structures were poised to fall, they had to act fast. She looked at Dr. Fester, took his blink as a signal to turn to Corrie, who was standing nearby, waiting, and flashed the V signal. Corrie rushed to the podium as the Virtue Patrol pried Prof. Alek from Ariana again and returned them to their spots. There was further mayhem along the upper circle as the Anti-Marshmallow Club, driven to a frenzy by the stirring testimony, finally commenced the long overdue beating of the Marshmallow Club members assigned to the spaces next to them. While the Virtue Patrol went to secure the peace over there, too, Corrie went to undermine the peace everywhere else.
