Act on It (8–10 minutes—Extended Option Only)

Ask everyone to turn to a neighbor and talk about one or more of the following challenges from the Act on It section of the weekly readings:

Day 3:

Tell about what you did to serve this week.

Day 4:

Share some of the God-incidences you recorded this week—ways you saw God at work undercover in your life.

Day 5:

Share an idea you had for becoming part of God’s rescue in this world.

If time allows, come back together as a full group and invite participants to share names of persons they thought of who are grieving or who have suffered a loss in the past two years. How did they reach out to any of these people (Day 1)? This is a perfect segue into the Group Activity.
