“Hello, would either of you like a fuck?” I inquired politely.

With a look of shock, both girls, who had been playing happily in the field, until we came along, turned and scuttled away as fast as dignity would allow. Often when I asked the same question it might be much faster than dignity would allow. I was always guaranteed the same response from the girls and more importantly from my gang. They loved to witness the reaction that my naughty inquiry would provoke. Since I had become such a ‘smooth talker,’ I had been regarded by the other boys as Casanova, Don Juan and Errol Flynn, all rolled into one.

“Oh Ade, you’re terrible!” They’d giggle, their eyes brimming with admiration. “Let’s go over the Park and see if there are any girls over there.” So, off we’d go and if there were I’d repeat my performance. As the girls blushed or ran, my little group would slap my back and do a little dance of glee. It was a great gimmick; I was regarded as a super-stud. It confirmed, or at least added considerable credibility, to the fanaticized tales of my insatiable, sexual prowess. It didn’t seem to occur to any of my gullible gang that none of them had actually ever seen me score. Hey, but they believed my ruse and I even began to believe it myself. A perfect opportunity presented itself one evening, when playing around a lamppost we were approached by Hillary.

“Hello Hillary, you look lovely tonight!” I recited, “Would you like a fuck?”

“Yes please!” She replied, “If it’s with you!” I froze, - we all froze, you could have heard a pin drop, but the only thing that did drop was the silent descent of our jaws.

“Ha-Ha-a!” I laughed, unconvincingly, “Did you hear that boys? That was a good one, Ha-Ha, she said yes!” - ‘Please let her be joking,’ I prayed.

“Where shall we do it?” She asked sweetly, as she slipped her arm around mine.

“I don’t know anywhere!” I stammered, feeling an electric shock run right through my arm and down to my heels.

“Yes you do!” contradicted one of my ‘friends,’ who had recovered from the shock, “What about the place where you always take them, - the barn in the field!”

The barn had set the scene, for most of my imaginary encounters.

“What barn?!” I croaked, “Oh-er-a that barn!” I added as I saw a gleam of disappointed enlightenment begin to form in his eyes.

“C’mon!” Said Hillary, tugging me along, “I know, which barn, I’ve been there before.” I was petrified; my heart began beating like a war-drum.

“Yahoo!” Cheered my gang, as I disappeared into the darkness with Hillary. While they cheered, I felt as though I was walking to the Guillotine. As we approached the barn the whole building seemed to creak eerily in the evening breeze,

“Listen!” I said to Hillary, hoping to frighten her, “There’s someone in there!”

“No there isn’t!” She contradicted impatiently, “It always sounds like that!”

“No it doesn’t!” I argued, “Oh I forgot!” I blurted, as a little inspiration sprung out of my befuddled brain.
