Come to The Greek Theatre on a summer night to enjoy L.A.’s people, music, and natural beauty. What makes this amphitheater special is its location inside Griffith Park. Surrounded by trees, this open-air theater allows concertgoers to cheer for some of the world’s biggest musical artists under the stars. The Greek has great sound quality and a capacity of just under 6,000 people, which makes it a bit cozier than the Hollywood Bowl (L.A.’s other major outdoor concert venue). Downtown

A fun way to check out downtown’s galleries is through the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk (www.downtownartwalk.org), a self-guided walking tour that happens every 2nd Thursday of the month. It takes you to over 50 galleries and about a dozen food trucks.
