This is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and luckily it’s accessible by car from Kamariotissa (though some people also like to walk the moderate 8 kilometers (5 mi) from the nearby village of Profitis Ilias). If you’re driving, you’ll take the southern road from the port for 15 kilometers (9 mi), passing through interior villages. There’s a little bar and restaurant, and the sandy, expansive beach has plenty of room for everyone.
