If you opt to capture infrared images using a nonconverted camera with a very dark R72 filter on the lens, you will find that the viewfinder is useless. In this scenario, using your camera’s live view feature may allow you to see your composition (though it may appear very dark) and fine-tune it before pressing the shutter button.
