Ingredients

4 cup s old-fashioned rolled oat s — employcertified gluten free oats to assurethe granola is truly gluten-free

one cup raw nuts of choic e — I employa blend of pecans and almonds

two tbs p flaxseed meal

¾ ts p kosher salt

hal f ts p ground cinnamon

½ ts p ground pumpkin pie spic e — if you want; either Taste a pinch ground cardamom

hal f cu p pure maple syrup either honey

one-thir d cu p softe n ed coconut oil either light olive oil

one bi g egg whit e — whisked till frothy (see notes to prepare vegan )

one ½ tsp s vanilla extract

½ cu p unsweetened coconut flake s — either swap some additional ½ cup raw nuts

hal f cu p dried frui t — if you want; sliced supposing big (I used dried cranberries)

½ cu p chocolate chip s — if you want
