Special Single Letter Shakti Mantras

There are instances in which mantras include a series of letters, without the closing Anusvara or æ-sound. Most common in this regard is the famous Panchadashi Mantra, said to be the most powerful of all the Shakti mantras and existing in several variations.5 It relates to the Goddess as Tripura Sundari, to the crown chakra and the full scope of the Sri Yantra and Sri Chakra worship of the Goddess, which is one of the most important Tantric Yoga practices.6 Entire sadhanas are built around it and its variant forms.
