Ready for an epic challenge? Play “Bigger or Better.” Put Kyle’s technique to the test. Find something around your house and start making some trades. Trade with family members, friends, or complete strangers. At our offices in Toronto, we have had some students do this challenge and get some remarkable things from trading. One student even ended up trading for a car!

The moral of the story isn’t that anybody with a red paper clip and access to the Internet can become a national celebrity and eventually trade up for a house. The moral of the story is to decide to get what you want and cut off every other option until it’s yours. Use what you have right now to start working toward what you will have.

The moral of the story is also, be creative! Yes, you will have obstacles and moments that stump you, but if there’s one thing we learned from Kyle, it’s to be creative when thinking about how to solve your problems. Be creative as you move forward and closer to those things you want.

Will it be easy? Nope. Will you have to work harder than ever before, sacrifice time, and use some creative thinking? You bet. Is it worth it? I think so. The point is this: there’s a way to get what you want. Instead of focusing on all of the reasons you can’t have it, decide what you will have, with no exceptions, and decide what you’re willing to do to get it. So:
