Daisy stretched languidly as the morning sun peeked through her lace curtains, casting a warm glow throughout her cozy bedroom. A contented smile played on her lips as memories of her past few nights with Roarke flitted through her mind - the tender conversations, the gentle caresses, the sense of profound connection. Her heart swelled with newfound affection for the enigmatic panther shifter who had unexpectedly captured her heart.

Pulling on a floral robe, Daisy padded to the kitchen to brew a pot of her special lavender tea. As the water boiled, she couldn’t help but daydream about what the future might hold with Roarke by her side. His steadfast presence brought a sense of security and excitement she hadn’t felt in ages.

Lost in thought, Daisy nearly missed the chime of her phone. Glancing down, she saw a string of messages from her friends in their group chat buzzing about the upcoming girls’ night at the community center. With a grin, Daisy tapped out a reply confirming she would be there with bells on, her mind already spinning with ideas for a memorable evening.

A few hours later, Daisy breezed into the community center, arms laden with bags overflowing with decorations and supplies. She had settled on a colorful theme, assigning each of her friends a specific hue - Celeste was green, Ellie yellow, Luna blue, Tabitha red, Sera green, Ivy orange, Molly white, and Elsie black. Daisy adored bringing a playful twist to their gatherings, and the vibrant decor would set a joyful tone.

As she began arranging plush chairs in a cozy circle, the front doors swung open, causing Daisy to glance up in surprise. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Roarke striding purposefully into the room, his intense gaze locked on her. A chorus of delighted gasps and giggles erupted from behind her, and Daisy realized her friends had arrived just in time to witness Roarke’s grand entrance.

“Daisy,” Roarke greeted, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine. He closed the distance between them, taking her hands in his. “I know this might be a bit unorthodox, but I want to talk to you.”

“What’s going on?”

“I need to ask you a question. I know this is late in the game, but would you do me the honor of allowing me to take you on a proper date tomorrow evening?”

Daisy’s heart soared at his request, a brilliant smile spreading across her face. “I would love nothing more,” she replied sincerely, squeezing his hands.

Roarke’s shoulders relaxed, a relieved grin tugging at his lips. Bowing his head slightly, he lifted her hands and brushed a soft kiss against her knuckles. “Tomorrow then, my enchanting witch.” With a final heated glance, he turned and exited, leaving Daisy breathless and giddy.

The moment the doors closed behind him, Daisy was swarmed by her friends, their excited chatter filling the air.

“Oh my stars, that was so romantic,” Ivy gushed, clasping her hands to her heart. “He’s totally smitten with you, Daisy.”

Celeste threw an arm around Daisy’s shoulders and gave her a friendly squeeze.
