Chapter Four

Married life suits me.

I mean, married life suits me except for the part about never having sex and masturbating every single damned night because of it.

After two months, I’m feeling good about the deception. I mean, I feel like it’s working. We do a lot of things together in town and I love that because we’re touchy feely with each other and I always get a number of quick kisses when we’re out together. I know it’s all part of the act but I still love it. We go out to dinner and I have to admit it’s nice that a number of girls are envious.

I wish this was real.

I mean, don’t get me wrong. I’m crushing on Andrew. I’m crushing hard and sometimes that feels like love but this is an act. It’s an act and my overwhelming gratitude to Andrew for the act has me crushing on him even more.

So, Tommy’s dad is angry but he’s all smiles and sweet around me. That’s because Andrew had a conversation that basically said if Drew felt like my parents were being punished because their daughter chose to marry someone she loved instead of marrying his son, then he would have to entertain some of the invitations he gets on an ongoing basis to meet with larger banks in the city who want to show him what a national bank can do compared to a small regional bank.

He's still angry at me but he can’t really do anything about it. Once he calmed down a little (at least in how he behaves) Drew said he was willing to cosign on financing for my parents for a year extension on the credit line on a declining scale, whatever that means. I majored in marketing, not financing. I know it means he’s willing to be responsible for some or all of the debt if they default. They worked that out and the credit line is far more manageable now because of Drew’s financial condition and him being security for the debt. My parents’ monthly payments are much lower than they were before.

As for Tommy, well, he’s been a gentleman about things. The guy ignored a thousand not interesteds from me but he shook Drew’s hand, kissed my cheek, and wished me the best. I guess he just needed proof. You know, I wish I could have those feelings for him but I can’t.

I have feelings for Drew, though.

I mean, not the feelings Tommy wishes I had for him. I’m not in love with Drew but I’m absolutely infatuated with him. I’m also so damned horny for him I can’t even think straight most of the time. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I almost try to get physical with him. I mean, there are times we might be watching a movie or we just get back from dinner or something… I just…

It’s a miracle I don’t just drop to my knees, yank his pants down and start sucking.

But I keep all of that in the world of fantasy where it belongs.
