Royce and Abbott had emerged from behind their respective mechs. Hearing Sandra's warning turned and ran for the exit. Naoki and Leroy followed their example.

"Come on, Sandra. We need to go." Teo said.

"The tank doesn't look damaged. I might be able to stop the ejection." Sandra walked up to the tank and pulled out the consul keyboard.

"There's not enough time for you to be wrong!" Teo pulled at her shoulder.

"I can do this." She shrugged off his hand. It took only seconds to confirm her observation. Tank 4 was showing normal pressure levels. Something else had to have triggered the ejection. She stepped over to tank 3, the only other tank with nanobots in it.

"What's going on back there?" Greg asked over the comm.

"Sandra thinks it's a false warning. She's working on stopping it. Anything you can help with from the bridge?" Teo responded.

"Esteban is working on it, but there may not be enough time."

Cycling through some screens on tank three showed her the same thing. Pressure levels normal and there were no breaches in the containment. Tanks 1 and 2 were empty and pressure less.

"Greg. The tanks are fine. The ejection protocol was activated remotely!" Sandra said.

"Ejection in 1 minute." The system reminded everyone of the deadline.

"Not enough time to fix this. I want everyone out of the bay." Greg ordered.

Teo grabbed Sandra by the arm and pulled her toward the exit. Then she saw it. A blue blinking light from behind tank 4. Wrenching her arm away from the strong grip of Teo, Sandra dove for tank 4.

"We need to go!" Teo yelled after her.

Flat on her back, Sandra wormed her way under the tank.

"30 seconds until ejection. Doors will be sealed in 10 seconds." The system announced.

Sandra saw what had been making the blue light. A box was connected to the pressure line of tank 4. Super cooled and compressed hydrogen was used to push the nanobots out of the tanks. That box must be sending the false signal. Then again, there wasn't enough time left if she was wrong, so being right was her only option.

With a quick swing of her arm she reached to her belt, grabbed her multi-tool, and poked around the box. There had to be something connecting it to the wiring of the pressure hose.

"10 Seconds." The emergency klaxon sounded as the blast doors unlocked.

Suddenly, the tip of her tool slid under the box. With all her strength Sandra pushed the tool as far as it would go. The black box popped off the pressure hose. Sandra could see a set of wires connecting to the sensor array. She dropped her tool and grabbed the box. Yanking on it, the box gave way, and her hand slammed in to the wall.

"Tanks are no longer compromised. Ejection sequence halted. Blast doors secured." The system announced.

Sandra couldn't move. Every muscle in her body hurt from the tension. Her eyes stared at the little black box in her hand that almost killed her. She tried to read the writing on the back, but it was in Portuguese.
