Breeze

It’d been about a month since Rylee and I’s first date and things had been going smoothly. With both of us having businesses, we were always busy. She would come by the coffee shop and work sometimes so we could spend time together. We would sit in my office and talk as we worked. Shit made me feel like we would be the perfect power couple. On the days we couldn’t be together, I made sure we communicated throughout the day. Some nights, we fell asleep on the phone together. I also sent flowers and candy to her often due to her expressing receiving gifts and acts of service as her love languages.

I wanted to be able to do more, so tonight I made her take the night off and come spend the night with me. So, we could be alone, I paid for Josiel a room on the beach.

“Tell me again why I gotta leave for you to spend time with some random bitch.”

“Nigga, call her a bitch again and watch how fast I knock your fuckin’ teeth down your throat.”

“She already got you going against your family. Damn, her pussy must be lethal.”

“Get the fuck outta here before I fuck you up.”

He walked in his room and picked up his bag to get ready to leave. Lately, he’d been working my nerves. It was time for one of us to move out. If I was going to be with Rylee, I was going to have to have some privacy.

The doorbell rang and since Josiel was headed out, he opened it. I cursed at myself because I didn’t want this nigga anywhere near my girl.

“Hello. I’m looking for Savion.”

“And you are?”

“Rylee.”

“Aye, ain’t you…”

“Come on in, love,” I interrupted him.

Rylee walked past him and gave me a hug and kiss.

“Go wait for me in the living room while I chop it up wit’ cuz right quick.”

She nodded her head then walked off. I went over to the door and pushed Josiel’s bitch ass outside.

“Nigga, have you lost your damn mind? Does OG know you fuckin’ his daughter?”

“Motherfucker, take some of that bass out your throat when you talking to me. Just because we’re family don’t mean I won’t rock your ass to sleep. Now that’s the second time you’ve mentioned my woman’s pussy. Try that shit again and you will be shitting in a bag for the rest of your life. To answer your question, no he doesn’t know, and she don’t know I work for him.”

“And how long you think that shit gonna last? Do you know what happens to niggas who fuck around with the plug’s daughter? Shit doesn’t end too well for them. What if our supply gets cut off? How are we supposed to eat?”

“Imma eat regardless. I tried to get your dumb ass to invest in a business or some shit. You chose to throw your money away.”

“What can I say? The money comes in and it goes out. You need to cut this girl off now.
