Coming out of the Asana
1.Stretch your right arm out and ensure that it is parallel to the floor. Start coming up, and inhale as you do so, strongly pressing your left heel into the mat and stretching your left arm towards the ceiling.
2.Pull your chest back, so it is on top of your hips.
3.Lower both your arms down and bring your legs together. Relax.
4.Stay in this pose for thirty seconds to one minute.
5.Repeat the asana for the same number of breaths with the arms and legs reversed.
MODIFICATIONS
If touching the mat with the bottom hand is uncomfortable, simply reach for your ankle or knee, whichever you find convenient to hold. Also, if you feel that your hamstrings are far too tight and holding the legs straight is getting to be uncomfortable, gently soften or bend the knee of the outstretched leg.
