Squash Turkey Chops

Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

4 pieces turkey

1 medium-sized acorn squash, peeled and deseeded, gently cut into eighths

4 tablespoons dried sage

2 tablespoons clarified and unsalted butter

2 teaspoons dried thyme

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 cup of chicken broth

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon pepper

How to Prepare:

First, set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and melt the unsalted butter or use the skillet to melt the butter and then pour into your Instant Pot.

In a bowl, combine the salt, pepper, dried thyme, sage and cinnamon. Season the turkey chops with the spices mix and toss them in the unsalted butter to cook for 10 minutes.

Then, add in the squash and pour in the chicken broth.

Close the lid and cook for about 35 minutes on a HIGH pressure.

Quick-release the pressure and transfer the chops to a plate.

Mound the squash around them nicely and ladle up the sauce (if any) all over the chops. Remember that this dish should be served warm. Serve it with the red or white wine.
