After Cremsylon studied the admiral’s lengthy message, he made a decision and called a meeting.

The principals assembled in Iltaft’s theater and filled all three rows.

Cremsylon began the meeting with a holo-vid display modeling Imperium space. <For those who don’t know, this ungainly sphere models thirty-five territories, each controlled by a Krackus executor,> he said. <Notice the much smaller sphere in the center of the larger one. Within this sphere are the Krackus populations. Admiral Cordelia has launched her final operation against the Krackus. It’s meant to strike the executors where they’ll be hurt the most ... in their credits.>

The audience chuckled, rumbled, and grunted in amusement.

<The admiral has assembled a massive fleet of Tridents and freighters to ship products from the suborned races to the Krackus worlds, which are running short of supplies from the admiral’s previous actions,> Cremsylon continued. <The Krackus companies will have to purchase the products, and the credits will be returned directly to the suborned races.>

There was a roar of approval from the audience, not the least because it was a form of revenge without bloodshed.

<An important part of the plan is the need for Quadrants and liners,> Cremsylon said. <They provide great collections of travelers, which the Tridents and freighters don’t carry. In addition, they’ve a dense population of SADEs, who must handle the massive number of financial transactions.>

Suddenly, members of the audience were quiet, and they glanced at one another. Some expressions told others that it was known what Cremsylon was about to share.

<Cremsylon leaves,> Wymron sent.

<Yes,> Cremsylon replied. <The admiral has a workable solution in the best tradition of the conclave, and I must support it. Alex and his companions would not have me do anything else.>

<Who goes?> Wymron queried.

<I’m staying,> Temtalum sent immediately.

<Doktorg and I will continue to assist the Quellers,> Korvath shared.

<And the three of us remain,> Minimalist added, indicating Luther, Morgoth, and himself.

The individuals staying were a tremendous relief to Wymron, Iltaft, Timteri, and Kosyet.

<The Alexander will take two freighters and an escort of two Trident squadrons,> Cremsylon said. <All other ships will remain here to service the needs of Queller citizens. There’s much more work to do to stabilize the populations.>

<Gat’r, Shoya, I take it you’ll be leaving with Cremsylon,> Iltaft sent. <What about the ship’s medical suite for implant installation?>

<Your new medical suite arrived via the ring this morning,> Gat’r replied. <In concert with Wymron, you have to choose a site. Your advisors are prepared to install it. Also, a team of medical techs arrived via the gates, they’ll handle the operations. In addition, there are many qualified Queller trainers to manage the newly implanted.>

<Apologies, Gat’r, I should have known that the conclave had things well in hand,> Iltaft responded. <Shoya and you have my best wishes for your future endeavors.>

For the remainder of the meeting, Cremsylon and others handled questions about how certain operations would be handed off to others. In the end, the Quellers exhausted their queries without uncovering a single missed subject by the conclave members.
